Skippered by Charlie Gloumeau and crewed by Peter Thompson (trimmer/tactician), Pat Kearns (spinnaker), Craig Corrie (mast), Chris Phillips (mast) and Russell Corrie (foredeck) she has had a couple incredible seasons of racing already. Winning the Bdos J24 National Championships and Match Racing Championship in 2008. Team Fadeaway has also had successful campaigns in regional events coming second in The St.Lucia Invitational in Novemebr 2008, second in The Grenada Sail Week J24 Class in January 2009 and second in The Bequia Easter Regatta J24 Class in April 2009.
Fadeaway is a fast little boat with a highly motivated, though not very experienced crew. But that lack of experience will change with time, so keep a space on the podium please.
